Hire our Side Lounge

At the Half Moon we have the ability, at certain times, to close off  our side lounge and make it available for private parties subject to a minimum of 25 and a maximum of 40 people (buffets). Ideal for birthdays or to remember the life of a loved one as well as work parties or group events.

For all functions we require a food option to be taken, whether this is a sit down meal or a buffet. All sit down meals will be based on a pre ordered choice taken from our main menu, or an agreed set menu, with a non refundable deposit of £5 per person required.

Our buffet is a ‘standard’ buffet (see below) at a cost of £11pp. For buffets a £150 deposit will be required at least at the time of booking.

The lounge also gives direct access to the beer garden which can potentially be made available during good weather. 

Our aim is to work closely with the event organiser to ensure we offer the perfect arrangements for your event.

Our standard buffet will generally consist of the following:

Selection of sandwiches; chips; pizzas, chicken drumsticks, breaded mozzarella sticks, crisps, sausage rolls.

Any special dietary requirements should be discussed with us at least 14 days prior to the event.
