Overview
A privately run traditional style gastro pub offering quality homecooked pub food and chef’s specials, great drink and a friendly service in a relaxed informal setting.
Arriving at the pub you will find a reasonably sized free car park with Beer Garden to the side, the main entrance to the left offers access to the lounges and a further entrance to the right providing access to the Tap Room.

Main Lounge
Entering the pub through our main entrance, our main lounge, the heart of our pub, awaits.
Our main lounge offers a dining opportunity for parties of two to 12 people including 2 raised corner tables for a ‘slightly more intimate’ dining experience for up to 4 people.

Side Lounge
Our side lounge is an extension of our main lounge and is on the left as you arrive through our main entrance.
Offering a different ambience, with a pleasant outlook into the village centre on one side and access to our beer garden in the summer on the other.
This room often provides a slightly quieter dining experience or alternatively provides scope for larger groups to dine on a potentially more private raised level.
Under the right circumstances this room can be hired out for small private events of around 30-40 guests
Our Side Lounge offers:

- Mix of high and low level tables (incl round tables)
- Access to beer garden (during warmer months)
Tap Room
A separate room offering a more traditional bar experience, primarily for our customers just looking for somewhere to enjoy a drink or informal dining experience (Please note that our Main menu only is served in this room but still offers all your traditional pub favourites!)
Please also note that very occasionally we may have to suspend food service in this room if the kitchen gets too busy.

- Well behaved dogs welcome (on short leads!)
- Walkers welcome (excluding muddy boots!)

Beer Garden
Our new and expansive beer garden is accessed to the left of the main entrance.
A hard standing more traditional beer garden with mainly round wooden bench style seating is at the front with an outlook onto the village centre. A narrow path then extends into a garden setting with a more standard table and chair layout. In addition a couple of ‘beer barrel’ tables offer a quirky shaded spot.
Decking leads to a serving hatch which is open during good weather and doors which can be provide disabled access on request.

In the interests of customer comfort, please note our beer garden is a NO SMOKING/VAPING space. Our smoking area is in the car park with ashtrays located near the bus depot wall.
