Charity Quiz Night
****FROM WEDNESDAY 23RD APRIL THIS WILL MOVE FROM THE NORMAL TUESDAY NIGHT TO A WEDNESDAY NIGHT UNTIL FURTHER NOTCE ****
The ever popular Charity Quiz night is back! Come and join us and test your knowledge. Whether you’re vying for the Jackpot or just playing for a bit of fun you’re all welcome!
With a maximum of 4 people per team, teams will battle it out across the rounds to win and then the draw is done to see who has the chance to answer the jackpot question.
Where: In the main and side lounges.
Cost: Entry is just £1 per person with half going to the jackpot accumulator and the other half towards the chosen charity.
Womens Guinness 6 Nations
All the Womens Guinness Six Nations matches shown live in our tap room.
Dates: Sat 22nd March – Sat 26th April 2025
We will be showing all the womens 6 nations matches live from 22nd Mar to 26th Apr inclusive. Who will come out on top this year? Join us to find out!

Wine Tasting Evenings
Hosted by our good friends at The House of Townend Wine Cellars we once again bring you our popular Wine tasting with charcuterie evenings.
Details: Hosted by the very knowledgeable Alexis from HoT the evening offers tasting of 6 wines with a charcuterie sharing platter for the table half way through. Each evening offers a different theme so no two evenings are identical! Evenings start 7 for 7.30pm
Dates: Wednesdays – 9th July and 24 September 2025
Tickets: Tickets are £29.50 per person and are on sale now for both dates. Tickets include 6 wine tastings, cheese & meat sharing board and expert host. Tickets are only available in person at the pub.
Music quizzes with Stephen
If you are into your music and haven’t been to one of Stephen’s fantastic music quizzes then you are missing out!
Put you musical knowledge to the test with this really fun quiz full of music from across the decades. Although these are just for fun quizzes but do have a max of 5 players per team.
Dates: Fridays 6th Jun; 12th Sept and 21st Nov kicking off around 8.30pm.
LIVE MUSIC - Milestone
Once again we welcome back the very talented due Gary and Pete AKA ‘Milestone’.
Dates: Thursday 2nd October 2025
Details: Starting around 8.30pm they sing your requests throughout the evening until 11pm.Why not join us for a meal beforehand or just rock up on the night to enjoy the entertainment.
FAMILY QUIZ - The Simpsons
We have had some fantastic themed quizzes over the years and this should be no different.
Date: Saturday 26th April 2.30pm – 4.30pm
Details: This is a Saturday afternoon family fun quiz appropriate for all ages. If you watch the latest episodes or are old enough to remember the original series there will be something for everyone.
Bookings not necessary if you are just coming for the quiz but why not secure your table and enjoy a bite to eat either before or after. Max of 6 per team.
LIVE MUSIC - Alex Limb
Enjoy the acoustic talents of local singer, Alex Limb.
Date: Saturday 17th May 2025 from around 8.30pm
Details: Alex will be performing a range of numbers so why not get together with friends for what will sure to be a really enjoyable evening.

LIVE MUSIC - The 80's Guy!
Mat Howlett AKA ‘The 80’s Guy’ kicks off a couple of events designed to bring out the inner child in you and fill you with nostalgia!
Date: Friday 4th July 2025 starting around 8.30pm
Details: ‘The 80’s Guy’ will be performing a host of 80’s classic tunes and this really promises to be an absolutely great sing along event so why not join us for a meal or just drinks
THEMED QUIZ - 80s & 90s
The second of our events taking you back down memory lane is this quiz on all things from the 80s and 90’s.
Date: Saturday 19th July 2025 starting around 8.30pm
Details: This is a ‘just for fun’ themed quiz. Max teams of 6 people. Bookings not required but are preferred to help us with planning the evening and for any pre quiz dining.
Rum Tasting evening
This will be a ticketed event and again hosted by Alexis from House of Townend.
Date: Thursday 6th November 2025 – 7 for 7.30pm start
Tickets are not on sale yet however for anyone attending one of our wine tasting events this year you will be entitled to 10% off a ticket for the rum evening.

Jackpot Cash Bingo
Eyes down it’s Bingo time!!!! With Cash Prizes and Jackpot to be won what better way to spend a couple of hours on a Wednesday afternoon.
Details: 6 games of Bingo including Jackpot game, starting at 1.30pm in our lounges.
When: Every alternate Wednesday lunchtime. Get in touch for details of our next game. Please note that Bingo does not take place during December.
Cost: £5 for 3 cards or £10 for 6 cards
